Back in San Francisco

When we returned to San Francisco we checked back into the Hilton and this time we had a great view of the bay and Coit Tower.

What a lovely view.

From the hotel we walked down to Fisherman's Wharf. We tried to catch a cable car, but they were all packed. We ended up having the most fantastic dinner at Castagnola's seafood restaurant. Try the Ciopinno, it is AMAZING!!

A nice shot of the marina.

More marina.

We walked on this long dock where they had a bunch of historic ships, this was one of them.

The Golden Gate Bridge in the sunset.

A shot of Alcatraz from between the rigging of an old masted ship.

Another view of the Golden Gate Bridge from the pier with the setting behind the hills.

Alas, GHirardelli Square - the meca of North American chocolate - I highly recommend the Brownie Sundae with all dark chocolate. Mmmmmm, nummy delicious!

Heading back through Chinatown to the hotel.

Peking duck in so many windows made us think of the ending to A Christmas Story and Christmas Turkey! LOL

As we neared the hotel, we saw among the mostly Asian related shops, and there was this rather out of place sex shop - there in the middle of he financial district - it seemed a rather odd place (or maybe appropriate) for it.
