This was the second half of my photographic weekend. This was a Meet Up get together called "City Harbor." We met at Buckingham Fountain and walked along the lakefront shooting whatever fascinated us about the water and scenery. Here are some of the things and people I shot...
It all began after we got off the train and were walking from Union Station to Buckingham Fountain. The reflections off these giant buildings were really cool and fascinating.
When we got to Buckingham Fountain, we learned that there was a walk for breat cancer going on so everyone was decked out in their finest pink items. There was even a little white dog whose owner dyed its ears pink - it tried to get a picture but it didn't turn out.
As you may or may not know, Buckingham Fountain holds a special place in John's and my heart as it was where we met on our first date, so any time we go there is special for us!
Someone was shooting their wedding photos there and I thought it was an interesting picture from an observer's standpoint!
I liked that this dinny was named "B re Necessity" and it was in such a minimalist setting and had that missing letter.
This one was pure entertainment - the bumper sticker above the makeshift bar says it all! LOL
I liked the way the reflections of the water were dancing on the hull of this beaten up old ship.
Originally I wanted a shot with no people in it, but I think it would have been too empty and the guy actually added more to it than it would have without.
These are some friends shooting.
This was a cute couple sitting on the water's edge oblivious to everything around them. I think they made a sweet picture.
This gentleman just plopped right down there and proceded to haul out his lunch and start chowing down right there. He looked a little sad and lonely.
This is the new Trump building along the river. I liked the way the trees framed it. I should try to sell it to Trump for advertising!

I can't recall what buildings these are, but I liked the way they looked. I originally clones out the bird, but then it seemed a little empty so I put it back in.
These were some freaky weird statues along the river - there was something creepy yet fascinating about them!
