I decided to put my new back drop and lights to good use and shoot some pictures in the house of some flowers we got...

Chicago Botanical Gardens
Last Saturday we decided we needed our spirits lifted after what we went through with Squirrley the night before so we decided to go to the Chicago Boantical Gardens. While they weren't in all their glory, the trip proved to be worthwhile nonetheless. Here are some pictures...
Pretty blue Anemone
Pink Anemone
The color and details are really amazing!
Who doesn't love a flowering tree?
Bleding Hearts, a garden favorite!
Even though this is a Bonsai it still looks likea cool place for a picnic!
Here too!
More blossoming trees!
...and more...
..and more!
Even the moss on the rock walls was blossoming!
The Foregt-Me-Nots were gorgeous.
A lovely bubbly fountain.
A BIG fountain and a rainbow!
Another of my favorites, the Iceland Poppy. I love how wrinkled like crepe paper they look when they first open up - so delicate!
...and they come in a beautiful variety of colors, or absence of color.
The bridge to the Japanese gardens.
The Japanese gardens...so zen and tranquil!
Lily Tulips.
Gorgeous flowering Magnolia tree.
Crown Imperial Lily
A bright red Ranuncula.
One of many lovely flower pots!
Robin bob bob bobbin along!
Siberian Iris.
Sweet stainless steel sculpture in the gardens and I managed not to get myself in the picture.
One of literally half a million tulips.
Such fabulous colors!
Tulips galore!
Not sure what these are but they were really pretty.
Some kind of small yellow-orange flower that struck my fancy.
