This was the first day of a photographic weekend for me. My friend Candace and I are trying to get a photography group going at work and this was supposed to be the first of our out-of-office gatherings. Unfortunately, only one other person and my wonderfully supportive husband made it. The weather was admittedlyuninspiring as it was cold, damp and somewhat wainy, but in the Botanic Gardens there is never a shortage of subjects begging to be shot!
This rock and this garden path captivated me for a while and I couldn't stop shooting it!
Here again, I was determined to get just the right shot of these beautiful irises.
This is the area where the Bonsai trees are kept. It is a really nice set up!
